The Weekender, July 5, 2026: One Month Out

Season 3 of The Chronicles of Oscar and Amber is now less than a month away, and the production pipeline is filling up.

This weekend we're cranking out images. All of our "live" photo models who are getting composited into scenes away from Chez Oscar have done their work, and what we're doing now is knocking out all the scenes which take place on the premises. Those take a little more preparation than to the character packages, but the post-production work is far less - there's no compositing, or very little, and I don't need a couple of dozen shots from different angles to get the character consistency I need from the AI video apps.

With these, the raw photo is the scene. That's much easier on the post-production.

Of course, these character packages, or a lot of them at least, have done double duty for us. Because all of the character videos you've been seeing if you're following us at Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X or YouTube - they're the same videos which keep popping up on the character pages here at the site as we update them - are using the same source material (character and wardrobe) that you'll see in selected scenes in Season 3.

...they're in outfits, if not settings, that they'll be in the episodes where they appear in Season 3.

The first episode is set to drop on August 4, a month from now. That's a Tuesday; the schedule calls for Tuesdays and Fridays being drop days for episodes for 10 weeks ending with the finale dropping on Friday, October 9.

Long-time Oscar and Amber fans - the folks who've been with us since the message-board days - will recognize the season finale. For everybody else it's going to be... quite memorable.

So, back to the production salt mines. And for the majority of our folks who hail from here in these United States, happy Independence Day weekend!
