Keegan

That's Keegan. The most underestimated man in Baton Rouge, building something that's going to make us both very rich — assuming I can keep him focused long enough to get there.

Keegan is the smartest person I know, and I mean that without qualification.

He spent years running IT for the largest health insurance company in the state before getting into a fight with the CEO over network security upgrades the CEO wouldn't approve. That ended the way those things end when the smarter person is also the more stubborn person — with Keegan walking out and going off on his own. He builds apps now. Great ones. The kind that make you wonder why nobody thought of it before.

What he can't do is run a business. That's where I come in. I'm his agent — I find the clients, handle the billing, manage the relationships, keep the whole operation from going sideways. In exchange, I get a man who can, and I say this without exaggeration, read the Matrix.

He proved it the first week I knew him. I mentioned Amber, explained the situation with Z Company using her to train their AI, and before I'd finished the sentence Keegan was already thinking about how to solve the problem. He recoded her from scratch. Gave her a full human personality. Did it because he liked the challenge.

That's Keegan. The most underestimated man in Baton Rouge, building something that's going to make us both very rich — assuming I can keep him focused long enough to get there.
